What are premade book covers?

Premade book covers are professional, ready-to-use digital designs. They are created in advance, allowing you to choose a high-quality look for your book instantly. Once purchased, we customize the title, author name, and any taglines to fit your specific project.

Can I change the font or colors?

For premade covers, all typography (including fonts and colors) is provided as-is and cannot be altered. For custom covers, typography changes may be requested prior to final approval; however, additional design fees will apply for these revisions.

What file formats are provided?

You will receive high-resolution JPEG and PNG files, optimized for both digital e-book platforms (Kindle, Apple Books, etc.) and social media promotion. If you require a print-ready PDF, we can offer full-wrap upgrades.

Ordering & Delivery

How do I receive my cover?

After purchase, you will receive your digital book cover files via email. If you provided your title during checkout, a customized version will be emailed to you during standard business hours.

What formats are included?

You will receive high-resolution JPEG and PNG files optimized for all major eBook platforms (Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo) and print-on-demand services.

Can I change the font later?

The premade covers are sold with one standard round of typography customization. If you need further changes after the final files are delivered, additional fees may apply.

Digital Download Policy

Due to the nature of digital downloads, all sales of premade book covers are final. Once the files are delivered or accessed, we cannot offer returns or exchanges. However, we are committed to your satisfaction—if there is a technical issue with your files, please contact us immediately.

Usage Rights & Licensing

Upon purchase, the buyer is granted an exclusive license to use the cover for their book. The design is sold only once and will be removed from the store immediately after purchase. The author retains rights for ebook and print usage up to 250,000 copies, while KayCovers retains the right to showcase the work in our portfolio. If your book sells more than 250,000 copies across all formats, please contact KayCovers to arrange additional licensing.

What if I need changes later?

Standard purchases include one round of text updates (Title, Subtitle, Author Name). Significant design changes or layout modifications post-delivery may incur an additional fee. We recommend reviewing all text carefully before submitting your title information.
